Synopsis
Array, ,

Angela, a production assistant, scours the city of Bucharest for the casting of an advert on workplace safety, commissioned by a multinational corporation.
Like an Alice in Eastern Wonderland, she encounters, in her exhausting day’s work, big businessmen and real harassers, rich and poor people, sex partners, people with severe disabilities, her digital avatar, another Angela from a forgotten old film, Westerners, German director Uwe Boll, a cat, even the Mad Hatter’s clock, lots of music and excellent anecdotes for all tastes.

Born in 1977 in Bucharest (Romania), Radu Jude started out as an assistant director, then directed several short films before moving on to feature films with The Happiest Girl in the World. He then made other feature films including Aferim!, Scarred Hearts, Uppercase Print etc. His feature film Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn won the Golden Bear at the Berlinale 2021. Currently in post-production with the montage film Eight Postcards from Utopia, co-directed with Christian Ferencz-Flatz, and in preparation with the feature film Dracula Park.
